Liberty Foundation B-17 Maintenance Fund

The challenges involved in maintaining a World War II bomber in flying condition increases with each year. Now more than ever, your contributions count to keep this living history museum flying as a tribute to all the men and women who have served our country in times of need.

Insurance costs have risen greatly in recent years (particularly since September 11th) and the cost of an engine overhaul has now topped $50,000 and bear in mind that we may overhaul between one and two engines annually.

The Liberty Foundation B-17 is not supported or sustained by regular city, state of federal grants of any kind. The B-17 relies on Corporate and personal contributions to help defray the operational expense and maintenance costs. Please help to keep this living history museum in the sky honoring our veterans. Your donation will make a difference

The Liberty Foundation is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization, and all donations are tax-exempt to the fullest extend allowed by law. Donations can be made for the B-17 Maintenance fund and mailed to:
